STATEMENT OF QUALITY

Seattle Asbestos Test, LLC is committed to providing quality services that meet or exceed customer expectations.

As early as 1977, the founders of Seattle Asbestos Test, LLC have studied mineralogy in various application and gained a deep understanding of minerals including asbestos, and the key personnel at our laboratory have been in the analytical positions for than 20 years.

Seattle Asbestos Test, LLC has been serving the Industry since 2005 and its customers include homeowners, private industry, academic institutions and governmental agencies. The rate of customer satisfaction is extremely high, and continuing and returning customers are common.

Seattle Asbestos Test, LLC has always pursued a course of continuous and seamless service approach and organizational development. One example of this is the comprehensive Seattle Asbestos Test, LLC Quality Assurance (QA) Manual that was written and implemented in 2005. The QA Manual, among many other aspects, outlines many Standard Operational Procedures (SOP), such as SOP for sample receiving and log-in, SOP for sample analysis, SOP for data generation, SOP for deficiency reporting and correction, and SOP for safety training.

Seattle Asbestos Test, LLC has evaluated the guidelines of ISO-17025 relevant to NVLAP accreditation, and has incorporated and implemented those standards into its quality system.

The quality system is regularly audited for adherence to Seattle Asbestos Test, LLC procedures, as well as applicable NVLAP references, by the Internal Audit Team. The results of each audit are used to further develop the implementation and direction of those procedures. The audits identify any areas that may require additional documentation and/or training to maintain and enhance the quality level of the products or of the organization.

Seattle Asbestos Test, LLC is compliant to the requirements of the NVLAP accreditation and participates in AIHA administered PAT rounds for PCM analysis. Seattle Asbestos Test is Certified by EPA as AHERA inspectors. Further more, Seattle Asbestos Test participates inter-laboratory QC/QA programs with outside laboratories in the industry.

Reports to its clients at Seattle Asbestos Test go through an initial review before they are reported . The analyst prepares a hard copy of the report and forwards it, along with the raw data, to the Laboratory Director, Laboratory Supervisor, QA Manager, Department Manager, or peer analyst for a secondary review. Secondary review is performed 100%, meaning for every aspects and every batch and is documented by the reviewer's signature.
